What is media?

 Today we're learning about media and everything about it. Personally i am shooked about how much media my friends and I have consumed media.

Today we have been told to make a video with magical effects, I buddied up with my friend Hermione  to make this. It's not the best because this is the first time we have used "WeVideo" but hopefully i will learn more about it and i will be able to add more to it. Leo and Dinos bad day.

 

 

Today's focus was coding a game to have animations and fun pictures for younger classes.

Mine consists of a dinosaur and a Lion trying to show what to and what not to do when walking with a chromebook...Check it out!

Grace and Sams comic strip

Today we learnt to make a comic strip and be very creative. it wasn't hard but it wasn't easy at the same time. I highly recommend using makebelifscomix.com. i love the website and it made it very easy. Thank you Mr fourie for this leason. :)

Here are my goals for this week

Coronacation

Being stuck in the house for 2 months was very interesting, emotions were off the hook good, bad, exciting and sad. But in the end we pulled through here are some of the things i did during lockdown.

A lot of good things happened, I got to spend time with my family and we all had so much fun. We did Baking and bomb comps... It was all so much fun. I especially liked the baking because i gotta eat the mixture. Sleeping in was a big thing but while i was at home i also missed all my friends. We all stayed in touch by facetiming and texting each other. Personally i think lockdown brought everyone closer because we were making effort to see (call,facetime etc:) each other. When lockdown struck so did the chores but that's algood because by the end of it we had a clean and organised house but i don't know how long its gonna stay like that to be honest.

With good times also bring bad times. Family time also made arguments. Arguments over food, where to sit, what to do, what not to do and sleep. Mostly about food to be honest, but mum made sure we burned it all off when we would go outside. Another bad thing was that sports where not on. Netball was postponed, Rugby trials pushed back and over all no sports! I couldn't socialize with my friends physically but i could on facetime and stuff, We made it work and it was pretty fun. Don't get me wrong i love my family so much but when it comes to my sister being a pain in the bum i lose it, She would wake up early (6 ish) and she would start singing and making noises in her room while i was sleeping, One thing i hate the most is waking up and my mum and dad know that. But i could also be loud at some points so we got each other back in some ways.

Some exciting stuff happened while in lockdown to. It was my mums, my dads and my sisters birthdays. mum made a cake and we had a lot of fun. kinda bummed because it wasn't mine but a few weeks after lockdown it was mine im now 13. Me and my sister had a lot of exciting things happened, We got on the scateboards and went around with leaf blowers. We would eat half of the cupcake mixture, but it made mum very angry. We made motor bike bumps but the rain kinda made them dumb so we just busted them. I played fortnite with Hermione and we got so many wins, It was so funny.

Some sad stuff also came around. I found out me and Hermione arnt going to the same boarding school and that was really sad. Knowing i couldnt see my friends hit home because i love having fun with my friends. Not being able to see my nana was weird because me and livi normally go and see her most days but we called her every second day which was nice. Covid 19 took so many lives and think if jacinda didn't act how she did some of us could have had it which is scary to think about. I also got kinda raged because my cousins took my broskii glasses when i was trying to fing them.

All about me - 2020

We were learning about what to share and what not to share, Also so what to post. Making sure out digital footprint was all good.

I found it hard to know about what to and what not to share online and keeping everything private.

It was easy to make my digital self and polylining. 

Next time: i will know how to polyline and colours so it'll be easy to make digital pictures/animations. :)
